Partners’ Investment Fund (PIF)

Oxfam GB Nepal is working through 13 partner organizations in Nepal. Women
Association for Marginalized Women (WAM) Surkhet is one of them. WAM is an
longtime partner organization of Oxfam. Oxfam has mobilized some funds for capacity
strengthening of partner organizations. Partners’ Investment Fund (PIF) also has some
common activities. Annual review of the program, project-writing workshop, donor
match making event are among the common activities. All partner organizations
participate in such activities.

Under Partners’ Investment Fund (PIF), the WAM has five-year strategic planning,
financial policy, human resource policy, procurement policy, gender equality, diversity
and social inclusion (GESI) policy, safeguarding policy and updating activities. Among
them, the financial and human resource policies of the organization have been updated,
while the remaining three policies have been newly drafted. Under PIF activities,
strategic planning and policy updating and development work has been done through
consultants. Similarly, under the PIF activity, the organization’s website has been
completed. The official website (www.wam.org.np) of the organization has been
designed. The organization is conducting PIF activities by appointing a communication
and documentation officer. The duration of this project is until December 2023. PIF Rs.
9 lakh budget fund.
